I spend a good part of an afternoon looking for this song in my iTunes folder on an external older drive. I couldn’t find it but I have a CD of California Songs that did. I not only wanted to hear it but also wanted to put in on my iPod. 2 days later in the Los Angeles Times there is an article about the song, with the song!

This is a great example of Watoot. Now to find the Roy Rogers version.

Side note: I have “Don’t Fence Me In ” Roy Rogers and Gene Autry’s versions on my iPod along with a bunch of rock songs.

Oh, I’m packing my grip
And I’m leaving today,
‘Cause I’m taking a trip
California way
I’m gonna settle down and never more roam
And make the San Fernando Valley my home.

I was a Hard Drive store which Mr Soronow recommended to me. From the Store I pass a Cuban restaurant, which is the last place I saw Mr Soronow. On the radio the announcer Michael Medved next guest was Jonathan Soronow. I’m told it might be a different spelling, which I will have to look up to create a link.

I haven’t added a post in a while. It’s not because I don’t have a the experiences it’s because i don’t write them done.

This one occurred when my sister mentioned him and sent me a link last week. the following day not only did I notice him on billboards but his ad was on the cable stations. I realized this is more to do with a record being promoted but my sister rarely mentions music and I don’t have cable.
